Anyone want a 77 P200E
Nice P200E in Omaha. $1500.00
I thought about it, but can't go look at it in person right now. http://omaha.craigslist.org/mcy/1611027335.html From Seller: there are around 8800 miles on the scoot. the paint is pretty decent. it was originally red, but at some point it was painted the blue color in the pics. there are a few scrapes and such from being in a tight garage, but for the most part, it's solid. everything on the bike works great. it has a new exhaust(sito+ and jetted to match), clutch is solid, trans shifts well, brakes are good. all the electricals work, save for maybe one bulb in the meter if i recall correctly. it will have a brand new battery in it before it leaves as well. it has a new oil tank. the old one was bad when we bought it. it also has a new ignition. i've ridden it all over, and it has never left me stranded. if someone were looking for a solid vitage bike for a commuter, this would be a good candidate. let me know what else you want to know. can probably show it tomorrow, so let me know. |

1980's Bajaj Chetak up for auction in Alabama on Saturday March 6th. Probably sell for $100-$500 typically that's how it goes here in Ohio unless another scooter nut shows up with a fatter wallet.

This might've been posted a few months ago, but it is still a smoking deal in general and especially great for Hawaii.

Anybody looking for a P200?
Here is one that looks pretty nice and runs for $2200- http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/mcy/1630166495.html Here is one that looks pretty nice and doesn't run for $2000- http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/1628778408.html Not the cheapest scoots, but the prices are pretty good if you have a hankering for a P. I wish that I had found one like these before I bought my POS! |

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/1628778408.html I certainly wouldn't pay $2k for a non-running P. If I can't hear it run, then I assume it needs a full rebuild and pay accordingly. You never really know what is wrong with a non-running engine. Here in SoCal, running P's have been going for around 2k. Jimmy had his awesome P2 for sale for 2K, and it took him a long time to get it sold - and it was seriously solid. |

Jimmy had his awesome P2 for sale for 2K, and it took him a long time to get it sold - and it was seriously solid. The looks good/doesn't run vs looks bad/does run issue could be debated. I bought one that looked bad but ran and I am still rebuilding the engine because it was hard to start and never ran very well. Here is a cheaper runner in CA- http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/1607680320.html I don't know if I would pay $1350 for that, but I would check it out. Note: I think that Jimmy was asking $4000 when he was first selling and then dropped it to $3500 and then $2850. I see running P200s in nice shape for $2500 to $3500. Not so nice from $1500 to $2500. From $500 to $1500 are bikes that are ratty, in boxes, wrecked, or with seized engines. |

When you can't hear it run, you have no idea what is wrong with it - could need new clutch, new gears, new crank - all you have to go on is what a stranger tells you (and one who is trying to sell you something). This seller says "easy fix" - if that were true, then why not fix it before selling? Like I said, I assume the worst and pay accordingly when I can't here it run. |

I bought a Yamaha Zuma 50 with 600 miles on it, because the wife wanted her parking place in the garage! It wasn't running....I drained the gas, cleaned the carb....put a couple of squirts of starting fluid in it, and it started like a dream! And, it didn't have a scratch on it! Paid $50 for it! |

If you thought that $2000 was too much for a non-running P200, you really aren't going to like this one:
Not a good deal at all- http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/mcy/1630894275.html This one is better- http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/mcy/1630750209.html So is this one- http://kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/1630259392.html And this one- http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/1630485301.html Cheap non running smallframe- http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/1630489443.html Not as cheap allstate project- http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/mcy/1630878308.html I think that you were right , littlebluedisaster. Maybe $2000 is too much. Right now there are lots of options for a P in that price range, depending on where you live. I think that a scooter that is in good shape and runs is a much better deal at $2k than any POS project for under $1k. |

May not be the "deal of the day" but found it interesting.
http://scoot.net/classifieds/forsale.html?id=20558 Never seen a 125 TS before? Very cool looking scoot though. Found a bit more info here: http://www.monarchscooters.com/TS125.htm Looks like it could be a quick scoot 8) Also dig the spare tire and glove box set up like the GS/SS, Rally/P's. |
