Nm, wasn't meant to be. I swear I check CL everyday for these things close by trying to snag one and I literally just saw this one pop up tonight. Sent the guy a message and it was already sold! Dammit!
He still has the p200 body and is asking 200 for it with clean title, says it has a bent left legshield, how 'repairable' are legshields and should I jump on it? |

My opinion is yes.
Its close so no shipping. Its surface rust(I know cause I got a rust bucket) Its a p125 and as all things are headed, you wont be finding it at that price for long. So..proximity...price....easy to get up and goin........ |

He wants 200 for p200 body and I'm on the fence. For one, I know it will just sit in the garage for a looong time before I have the means to build her up proper but you have to start somewhere right?
Sound advice though on getting a running machine first but I don't have the cash flow for that right now Here's a few pics he sent me with the damaged shield. What do you guys think? ![]() |

I'd just buy a complete p200 when you have the fundage. it will be more expensive over the long run if you buy the frame.

That's kind of where I'm at on the deal Travis, I know nothing about building one of these up, not that I don't think it would be fun but were talking about a LOT of money to get this thing running and that's money that I don't have atm and it will just sit there and eat away at me mentally.
I may back out. Screw my luck on not scoring the px125, I'll just have to keep my eyes open more often because I hardly ever see deals like this close to home. I think this would be purely an impulse buy to just HAVE SOMETHING rather than wait it out for something better when I'm more prepared. |

It'll be fun to look at but unless you've got a hoard of parts sitting around, that will end up costing you 3-4x as much to build as it would cost to find a non-running but complete bike of similar condition.
After you've been at it for awhile you might be able to build frankenbikes no problem using a small parts stash, but for now you'd be best to steer clear of anything that incomplete. I know how hard it can be trying to find your first scooter; always seeming to find yourself a day late or a dollar short on all the finds that come up. Don't worry about it, after you find your first one then it's almost like taking in a farm cat. They start showing up in your garage and you'll start becoming more critical about which ones you actually want to take in. |

That BB Sprint's spare motor looks to be a P200. I don't have the garage space for the bike, so someone on here should go pick it up.

It's gone. That was quick. Whoever bought it (if you're on MV), I'll take that single mickey mouse reflector off your hands.
