Well I'll defer to your greater experience w/ Lambrettas. i confess i know little about them. I saw & posted it for anybody that DOES know them and might be interested, probably someone close so shipping isn't an issue.

Thought it might be some kinda deal. I'd be all OVER 6 solid old Vespa frames w/ 4 motors for that money, if I was looking. Certainly not for everybody, including you jimmy.

I'd go there just to see what else is there.

Im no expert but I DO know that 6 old vespas with 4 motors is better just based on parts available.

Also 1200 bucks is a lot of money to me............maybe not to everybody else.

Agreed again, probably why we don't see this kinda deal for Vespas. I suppose you'd do well to sell most of this stuff as parts anyway for that reason, after you picked out what you wanted for your one or two bikes you're gonna build out of all this.

And yeah lot of money, prob about the average price for ONE bike in this thread lot of money. Look before you leap and don't spend the rent on motorscooters.

Wasn't gonna post this Cushman but American Pickers just found a great looking survivor like this one with all the original faded gray paint sheetmetal & decals on it for $1500 and will ask $2000.

Well it's listed @ $1150(NOT a lot of money ), but it's been up for a little while so maybe he'll dicker. Don't know the guy and it's a ways from me in the central part of the state. If I wasn't leaving town soon I'd be up for an expedition to take a look.

This is a running Cushman tited and tagged and allowed on rallys that are old bikes only.

That thumper right there is a 'ready to ride' scooter.

If you're interested in having someone take a look PM Turkman if you can. Randy is a knowledgeable and nice guy who may be willing to check it out for you. That bike is just south of Olympia. I'm less than useless when it comes to this sort of thing or I'd offer to do it myself.

HAhaha... it's cool Vader.... I used to have a doublesided illuminated 8' diameter VW sign from the 1972. They were called the lollipops. Babied that thing and it moved with me three times. Sold it last year to a HUGE VW collector up here site unseen.

I like it though and I am tempted sometimes.

Been there, done that sorta. I have ENOUGH scooters. Seriously. I'm trying to divest a few, the ones I don't yet love or don't love that much. I do have some nice scooters, but nothing seriously special to serious collectors and at least two of them break 'the rules'. I wish I could have a hundred, but ALL of mine I got wounded and they needed some or a lot of work to ride, mostly a lot. That's the deal with cheap scooters, but for me half of the fun is fixing and building them when they haven't run for years.

Considered branching out w/ those 6 Lammys(went fast!), but I have more 'projects' than I can handle already.


And I got enough signs too. One I made & one I got for my birfday that I put out on the road for ScooterKlatch.
