Brookside Rally 200
Anyone know about this scooter-
http://kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/4239568536.html I have tried to contact the seller, I got one reply that its for sale, but no other response. I'm interested in why so much work on a garage kept bike. Looks like a different ornament on the fender. Anyone in Kansas know the seller or the shop who worked on it? I can understand the light issues, but that seems like this Vespa needed paint - wipe out and slide? "It is always garaged and absolutely no rust anywhere. - The fender and both cowls were repainted last year with Vespa color match - fuel tank removed and cleaned and sealed so there will not be any issue with rust in an old fuel tank - Brand new tires - The engine was completely rebuilt last year with a complete record of all parts and seals replaced - carburetor was rebuilt - completely rewired all lights, signals etc work normally - Front brakes and front shock were replaced " ![]() |

Yup. Agreed. The oz prices are almost double the USA prices or sometimes more. We should be dragging a container of good USA bikes over!

spoilt for choice those yanks! (jokn) im with you Al and i know a few others that would be keen., Ive been half looking out for a bike for a mate but p series bikes seem to be gettn pricier (there is the odd bargain). Got a friend with a 79 p 200 on its last legs (beyond restore), and he flat out refuses to buy a px........says he is a p man, but i reckon he might be a "pedal man" soon.

I would not exactly call this a deal, but worth the asking price. Negotiated price and this could fall under the "deal o' the day" category. This baby would clean up super nice! Someone please get this... before I do. Help me help myself.

This Rally in Washington DC area is back again, and at the price (2,600) does look like a good deal as long as ou do not mind splitting the cases and checking the Cruciform etc.

its not a bad deal for a stella at all, is it a steal-of-the-day though, no.
i once got a fireball with extras for that price. ive always found them listed online for around 2k. right now, they're listed ranging from 1600-2600 for two strokes. and 2100-2300 for 4strokes. but heres a cheaper stella, more banged up though: http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/4232798829.html - $900 and heres the shady-fuck-of-the-day http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/mcy/4286554087.html -$500 stella in atlanta |

DC Rally 200 Price Engineering Ri$k
Has anyone ridden the DC rally 200? The price seems ok, the body looks good, but only from what I have seen. That much engineering history is something I don't think I want to inherit.
I want a european spec rally, I just don't know if this is it, or the way to do it. ( is there ever "a way to 2 do it"? I am also thinking how sweet would it be to have a eu rally that you loved but you could park it like Jeramey Clarkson? I am happy to wait for another one, or find one from a club member. That is if they tell me its original vintage. Thanks, Langdon |

Somewhere on this thread there is talk about it as I asked about it. Apparently it is a good bike, but you're going to have to split the cases fairly quickly to do the cruciform etc. The work done on it I understand is good. The price does seem good for the work done. There is a more original Euro spec bike on Craigslist elsewhere. Kansas maybe?
