This PK's been sitting for a while, price now down in DOD territory at $1600 for a bike that's been well gone through by the description at least. I think the difficulty in selling comes down to the flat black is either your thing or it isn't.

Yeah it sounds like a better deal than my Primavera was but then again I just really have a thing for the orange + patina look my bike has going on. Plus I am having a good time on the engine overhaul, so I'm not upset with it at all. Smallies are fun, digging it.

I dunno John. With out the PK engine I reckon it's just an ugly smallframe. It would be a bit more desirable with a Cali title too. $1,600 with a Cali title, fair but not DOD IMO FWIW.

How many of us are having thoughts about this sexy thing?
http://scoot.net/classifieds/forsale.html?id=46748 Me: Look at this scooter. Wife: Is that what you want? Me: It's pretty fuckin sweet. Wife: How much is it? Me: He's asking $4,500. Wife: I thought you said Lambrettas never run. Me: But when they do It's a beautiful thing! ![]() For me, in the end, a Lambretta is like a hot dog. I think I want one, but then, nah, not really. It is sexy though. |

You can do better than 4500 for a li150. Buy that sweet series 2 in black for 4k, not a steal but sweet bike.
Yeah the looks of the PK never grabbed me but I took one look at the photos of my bike and knew it was the one. |

I saw a CL posting for one just like yours in Stockton years ago. It was the inspiration for what I did with mine. Yours is "The One". I dig it!

$2800 for a Jet with an engine rebuilt by Gene doesn't seem bad Jimmy, but you'd have to see it I suppose.

Nice! If I had a jet though it'd have to be ochre. Love that color on there, like Jimmy's poor bike.

Why?
There is nothing in the description to indicate why the seller thinks £5500 is a fair price.
Can anyone enlighten me? http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/custom-vespa-for-sale/1046856161 |

hmmm... that reeks of lipstick on a pig...
ask if the front fender is fiberglass, if not take a pass. new switches, new loom, "it has keys" (suspect to start) yeah, i see the disc hub and other bits, but i dunno... the fork doesn't have dampeners (why would the cables be run but no dampeners) the legshield badge looks really weird, like low maybe? the nose of the fender doesn't look "sharp" enough to me. i don't know wft that speedo is... (negligible on all bikes) the LI panels are the real throw for me. granted, i know that some early TV175s came with LI panels... but you've had it 5yrs and no title.... who would buy that many parts and conceiveably paint an entire bike without a title... hmmm... i'm not trying to get down on anybody or anything like that; i just don't want to see somebody get burned on what could be a dubious bike. source: i have a 64 TV175 S3 sitting not 10ft away from me at the moment disclaimer: not trying to play johnny anorak or anything, just my observations. obviously, the pictures & angles could be misleading -g |
