Hi I'm looking to buy my first bike and thought you guys should have a look at the add. Seems pretty cool. I'm thinking I should take it to a bike shop for a complete inspection before buying right?

thanks,

- Ian

Not looking too good
Looking a bit rusty. If you have just started looking, I would give it some time. People are a little bit more desperate to sell in the winter. You might find a better deal.

If this is the one, than wait it out a little, and then after it is listed for a while, try to talk em down a bit.

About 7,000 miles on its ODO it looks like, so not bad.

I'd say $1500 for that scoot if it is in otherwise excellent condition.

Fender = $50, and touch-up paint is cheap, but when there are signs of it being beaten up like that you have to wonder what other little issues could be hiding.

That's about 1200 of the Queen's Pounds. You could maybe pick something like that up for approx 900/800 quid here which is about 1400 dollars. It looks a bit of a banger, not worth 2 grand IMO. I'd definitely hang off if I were you, money's tight right now and I don't see that thing shifting for the asking price. Well maybe to a fool... Mine cost the equivalent of 2000 USD and I got a 2003 PX200E and cosmetically looked in a lot better knick than that one. Looks like its been round the block a few times
