Know if seen it, searched all these with NO results.

water in turn switch

turn switch stuck on

turn signals stuck

turn signals

What is best way to prevent signals from auto activating after a rain?

And shame on Piaggio for installing such crappy switches on this scooter,,, tilt lock sticks in rain also.

Yeah this happens to me too. JimC mentioned to me when I posted it about possibly spraying something in there to prevent this...can't remember right now. I think the only "solution" would be to take it apart and somehow rainproof it with some spray plastic for electronics or similar, dunno. I'll see if I can find that old topic...

Back when TV's had knobs, I use to keep some tuner cleaner around to spray in switches. Now you might look for some silicon spray.

My fix
I took apart the switches, cleaned out with contact cleaner, rebuilt and packed inside with clear dielectric grease. Not only did it fix the problem it also made the switches ultra smooth to operate. 8)

Smart moves, good results, good post. Dielectric grease is handy stuff when you gotta mix switches and relays with wet environments. Glad you got it worked out.
