On September 27th Piaggio Benelux organizes a special rally for Piaggio MP3 riders only.
Of course I look foreward to that because it wiil be a very nice rally and we hope to see about 100 MP3's there.
But this is not the reason for the countdown.

We are also going to launch the "Piaggio MP3 Club Nederland" there.
So from the 27th on The Netherlands will have an official MP3 club and I will be their President

We have been preparing this for a few months now and we hope to have a lot of members after the 27th.
The Club will be organizing at least 2 rally's a year, we will have our own website with a forum for members only and there will be more. I will give the link after the 27th so you can have a look there also.
We will be looking for contact with other MP3 clubs in Europe as well
Piaggio is very anthousiastic about all this and offered to help us. They already make a flyer for us to give to all the rally participants.

I am realy looking foreward to this so I am counting down the days till the 27th.

Tomorrow is the big day.
We are expecting over a 100 people.
It is realy going to be a big event.
I am sure we are going to get a lot of members for our Club

Our first official Clubride will be november the 8th
Everyone is welcome for a ride and a nice bowl of peasoup (snert)

The ride yesterday was a big succes. About 60 MP3's turned up.
The weather was great and everybody was happy.


Our Club made a great start and by now we already have about 20 members and more wil follow.

What is the story with the yellow MP3 with reflective tape and the light sticking up? It seems to have a lot going on in the dash area.

He is a traffic regulator and sorts out the routes for special convois

wow that's alot of MP3's in 1 area at the same time. sure has beat anything on our side of the pond. in what cities did you meet up in and where did you ride to?

Thats and awesome photo. I hope we have a MP3 club here in Canada one day. The bike are slowly but sure starting to catch on here.

Can someone please tell me why we can't seem to do this sort of thing on this side of the pond????????? The most MP3's and owners I have ever seen in one place is 4.

We started in a place called Beneden-Leeuwen, we had lunch in a place called Woudrichem and the finnish was in Leersum.
The route took us over scenic roads and dikes.
This was all in the center of Holland

We had 9 in one spot in Chattanooga last June. If you would have come it would have been 10. Chattanooga is much closer to you than Ocean City.

Scooters are much more common transportation in Europe. I have talked to several people who commented on how many MP3s they saw on the streets of Paris. They probably are getting a huge sales boost with the wider stance of the LT allowing people to get around challenging requirements for a motorcycle license. In battery only mode the hybred is allowed into some city areas that do not allow combustion engines. That may justify the extra cost for many.

I have seen a total or 3 MP3s on the road that I did not make specific plans ahead of time to meet. Two of those were on the ride with the group from Chattanooga.

Seeing all of those MP3's together brought a tear to my eye..... beautiful
