I can assure you this is not photoshopped, this is real.
He did it because he rides a MP3 LT for an auto license. because he has a condition in his legs he is not allowed to get a motorcycle license. he liked the MP3 500 (fuoco) more but then he would need a motorcycle license. So he bought the front panels of the Fuoco and put them on his MP3 400 As proof, 2 more pictures |

I was goofin' with you.
I just wanted to see more pictures. Often when I ask to see more pictures none come. But if I challenge you then, well proof is in the pudding. Mike |

FAKE!
Looks very nice. I wasn't aware that the 400 had the same tubular chassis under the panels. Nice work! I'll bet there are more than a few 400 owners out there contemplating this mod! |

The two brilliant things about this 'mod' is the fact that he painted the nose and vents to match the silver on the rest of the bike and that he now effectively have a 500 look with the storage of the 400! I hope Piaggio takes notice..I like this look...

Took him about 8 hours work I do not know about all the technical details It has cost him about 800 euro's without the paintwork. He says he has more pressure on the front now. |

How about getting the 500's motor into a 400 frame?
I'd like to make that happen. Personally I don't care for the 500's styling. Plus, I really like to the storage space and windshield options of the 400. |

I hope I don't offend anyone but from my perspective the 500 just looks plain goofy where the 250 and 400 have an angry wasp visage to them. Unfortunately the smaller ones don't quite live up to their looks... Dave |

And the 500/Fuoco don't need it, later i will add a picture what i mean if you look at the following link you can see the sub-frame on the ground between the bucket and the aircompressor on the far right the mp3 don't have the mounting point for the front frame and you need to grind through the sub-frame because the hydrolic lines are going through the frame so it will be useless otherwise you need to refill the whole hydrolic system (brake and lock ) You have to make some mounting points for a fusebox brakefluid dispenser and the brakepressure........... don't know how to translate remdrukverdeler in dutch we used a metal rod ⚠️ Last edited by Maksor on UTC; edited 1 time

thank you for clarifying for me! Guess I'll just pick up another 500 at some point as I can't get behind the look of the 250/400. |
