I filled up today and I reached my all time best mpg of 79! I am so happy I just had to share.

What's your personal best?

Still being broken in, but during a highway trip, it got about 55mpg as far as I could tell (filled 1.5 gallons over 75 mile trip).

I think my best was ~58 on the ET2 (little 50cc 2-stroke works pretty hard)

Just had my first fill-up on the P200 since my rebuild and I got about 45 mpg. That's during break-in on all city driving so I'm hoping it will make it up to mid-50s in the end.

For a GTS, you'll find that freeway riding is where you get your worst mileage. 55 is good for freeway, but that bike will get much better around town.

My personal best is 55. My wife's personal best on her scooter is 59 or 60.

This mpg is with 650 Burgmans.

83 mpg on steady throttle county roads, few stops, averaging 40-45 MPH.
76 in the city/suburb.
these are not gps verified though. I recently bought the bike used, about 2600 miles right now

I'd like to see how my mpg's do if my whole tank was used on a country back roads trip. Only about 80 miles of my tank of gas were on back roads.

Thanks Jess - that explains a lot. The tank usually lasts me 2 weeks of commuting to work, but it seemed like I was stopping more often on that road trip!

Well that's exactly what I get, so you're probably very close.

For the first few months I owned the bike I was obsessive about keeping track of the mileage--slips of paper everywhere. This was probably a result of spending over six grand on something I really didn't need and wanted to justify, even to myself.

Not wishing to rain on your parade, I managed 82mpg recently. That was running on BP Ultimate on correct tyre pressures between central London and Richmond. Pulled away using very light throttle, once clutch engaged only half throttle. One or two full bore overtakes. Never felt like I was creeping along though, which was nice.

About to relocate to the countryside - hoping to still get decent fuel economy on the A-roads...

That is definitely true and exactly what I have found with my old GTS 250. I have yet to check my mileage on my 300 Super.

I've been getting 50-56mpg: 50 through the city-stop and go, 56 with longer 40-55mph riding.
I just ordered a windscreen so I'm hoping to get into the 60's.

but your mpg is with Imperial gallons, which equal 1.2 US gallons. (no joke.)

therefore your 82 mpg Imperial = 68 US mpg.
