When i get my engine overhaul done would it be advantageous to get the Femsatronic swapped over to a Ducati just to be on the safe side? It has not given me any trouble.

I hear a lot of people doing this?

They're doing it because you have little choice when your curent femsatronic CDI goes out. The femsa box that scooterworks sells is an absolute turd....and a pricey one at that.

If you are sitting on a stockpile of femsatronic CDI's, you're golden. Otherwise the Ducati swap is cheap and easy, and just requires switching around wires, getting a cdi, and putting the bracket on the back of your engine.
