Has anyone bought any footrests for their ET4 in England. if so, where and how much?

It's so my lad can ride pillion. He's about 4ft 6in so they'd have to be high enough for a short person to rest their feet on

cheers in advance

i got a set at beedspeed a year or two ago (which i've now sold) but i can't seem to find them on the site any more ... though to be honest if your lad's only 4'6" i don't think he'd be able to reach them.

i've seen people improvising footrests by using webbing or luggage straps to create a set of 'stirrups' which hang over the seat - maybe try something along those lines?

edit: yes they are on beedspeed's site ... but they're more expensive than i remember - £45

Cheers I've seen them ones before but wasn't sure if they would be suitable. I've seen a few scoots on here with different ones though that look like they are a bit further back. I've also seen ones that you could extend but I can't find the threads

I was looking into using a rear crash bar. There's a type that has a bar attached to the underside of the vespa & fixes on to the rear frame. Then mount foot pegs onto the rear crash bar. They would be strong enough for resting but not for getting on and off the scoot. Also you would be able to fold them up & move forwards as your kid grows. Other wise I saw a pair of pegs drilled straight into the side of the vespa.
