Since owning my GTS250 I've been asked if I'd sell it, mostly from people from work, but I've had a few people off the job ask too. I was wondering if it was common that this happen? Im getting tempted this is not good since I'd run out and get a 300.

What's bad about getting a 300 in exchange for a 250?

What offers are you getting? Maybe I need to ride around some more in commecial areas...

You'd be lucky to get 4k for it. Resale values are off about 20%. Probably better resale as a % than your Harley, their values have tanked about 1/3 from last year because of the economy.

A great time to buy, but not to sell. On the other hand, if you're trading up to something more I'd go for it.

Beutiful Giallo Vespa you got there
I love the look of the Giallo Vespa. I purchased a 2008 model and have

had lots of fun with it. 16,689 today, Many more miles to go. On wednesday I am taking

my GTS into Massimo's Vespa Shop and having the second radiator fan

installed. When I ride into the Inland Empire, RIVERSIDE, it is always

warm there and my single fan works too hard for my liking. With the

second fan the system will last much longer and cooler. 8)

On average, I get asked once a week if I will sell my scooter. That's because going to the bother of importing scooters is enough to turn your hair gray if it isn't already. However, once I tell them the price, their expressions change, the eyes become saucer like and a small gulping noise can be heard.

I've not been asked if my 250 was for sale (this is not a particularly popular region of the country for scooters-at least bigger ones) but I get quite a few nice compliments and questions about mine.

I still think we need to start a Giallo love thread in the gallery section. I like seeing how people trick them out.

I have throught the resale market for a big yellow vespa would not be the greatest in the rust belt. Vespas are probably not even the most common scooter, let alone yellow. Guess she is mine for a long while!

Yardsale, I didn't realize it was possible to install an additional fan. I have the GTS 300 and on the few really hot days we had up in the bay, I noticed it working hard all right. Is the efficiency of cooling really that much improved?

There's a guy in NoCal looking to sell his Big Ruckus. His notes..
2005 Big Ruckus (PS250). The 12,000 mile service as done in August; Replaced battery, drive belt, drive assemble, roller weights, air filter and changed oil.

Runs great; averaged over 68 MPG on a recent 575 mile trip to Tahoe. This thing cruises comfortably all day at 65 MPH and will do 75 MPH if needed.

Price is negotiable. Price includes a new Service Manual and an Icon Helmet.
If interested e-mail or phone jack at 650-678-4875.
