GIFs are only smaller for continuous-tone graphics, such as illustrations and screen grabs. For photographs, JPG works much better in terms of image quality with good levels of compression.

So basically you have to pick one or the other, depending on image type.

True, But if you don't need millions of colours...A gif may be all you really need.

I just went into my Message center section
and deleted everything, this should do it Right?

eraised all the past posts. Man o' Man I went

I think you are missing a point (or two).

As far as I can tell, all your attachments are still there. Not sure what you deleted, but it wasn't your attachments.

There's still the small matter of posting the same complaint six times in a matter of minutes.

It sounds like he deleted the things in his message folders ... inbox, sentbox, etc.

Well I just don't know where to look to eraise the photos I
have posted in the past. And yes my messages all got
eraised, now what? Jess would you please advise me
on where to go to delete past photos that I doubled up on.

Yardsale, click the "profile" button under any of your posts. Then click on "user attachment control panel" and you will see a list of all your attachments along with a little box to check to select which ones to delete.

Why would you look at that no X's.

I went to one of my posts, something about color of
scooter, then hit profilr button but then I couldn't find,
user attachment control panel, anywhere. I read every
thing I thought of but got nowhere. Thanks for the
help, purhaps Jess could speak up when he wishes.
I'm lost here and would love to know how to keep
my photos in check for the future. I won't be doing
that spam thing ever again Jess.

Oh my GOD,
Thank you ALICE for coming to my rescue,
I found the port to delete all the posted
photos. Well at least all but 3 photos, those
three I just couldn't get rid of, I love them.
I had 1689 or 16,890 photos up, shit
that a lot, and going back as far as when
I first logged on in 2008. Well everyone I
will keep an eye on the amount of photos
and I PROMISE not to spam messages. 8)

It's that sort of vagueness (and profligacy) that has led to your problem.

If you had used your own web-space (you do have some from your ISP? If not bin them as incompetent) then you wouldn't have a problem in the first place.
