I kinda like it, but I think you will be hunting down quite a few pieces for it.

Well, for one, they are equivelent to the old allstate wideframes. They will cost you a bunch of money to get all the parts for, and in the end nobody wants them....so your input of money will not equate in what the bike is actually worht.

The engines are extremely difficult to rebuild.

They are slow and low, and don't keep up well in modern traffic.

If you want a really NICE one, my clubmate is getting rid of his for a Rally 180.

He only wants like $1200, and it's complete and runs just fine... and looks really pretty.

I'd say get rid of the flame job and more of a straight bar set up and that thing would look a whole lot better.

You could buy this one. It's for sale in my town. Local scooter shop guy picked it up as part of a package deal with a bunch of other vintage scooters.

At some point, someone stuffed and automatic cvt honda scooter engine in it.

I have a '52 LD in the garage that I took apart 23 years ago and has been at the end of the project list the whole time.

I'm convinced the design was a test for the engineering department to see how complicated they could make it.
