I cant imagine a scenario in which my car would end up upside down on the sidewalk, how does that happen?

A mixture of going to fast, and swerving will cause the car the flip over. I've seen it done on my way to Vegas...pretty crazy watching a corvette flip over so many times that I couldn't even keep count.

ouch. that's a B6 A4 1.8 or 2.0T, can't tell if it's quattro, but you'd really have to screw up to flip it like THAT. fresh rain after a dry spell? I've done some crazy stuff in my A6 4.2 which is a little bit more lopsided but faster and haven't ever come close to that.

hopefully everyone was ok. (by the looks of it they probably are, audis are tanks and pretty safe unless you're in the 3rd row of an avant, which is right in the crumple zone.)

it was crazy

the lady was fine and didn't spill a drop of her latte Clown emoticon

there was another car involved

suv in the 2 lane and the audi in the 3lane

suv squeezed/cut her off and the audi cought the curb and then rode up the tree knocking down the tree at the same time rolling her

that is also a bus stop

no one hurt, the bus left the stop seconds before this happened

the car never touch ed the walgreens window which by the way had a employee in the window doing window dressing Wha? emoticon

by the way the guy on the bike just locked it to a pole and was walking the opposite direction, so when he turned around he could not see his bike 8)

Easy!

I hit a pickup head on with a Smart car and within mere seconds had the thing on it's roof.

sounds plausible, though they'd have to hit her HARD, that car weighs about 3700LBS. glad she was fine. it's one of the reasons I drive an audi: they're pretty resilient in an accident.

But in those two scenarios they can still drive.

In mine they can't.

i'd have to say, the audi held up pretty well. germans build pretty safe cars.

glad no one was on that bicycle!

i had drivers ed 21 years ago when it was still offered through high school. nobody failed. ever. now, they do not seem to offer it through the high schools anymore. probably because of liability. i wonder if it is better now. i can tell you that when i hand signal on my scooter. people seem to not have a clue.

but they sure as hell fucking don't. in the detroit area, people driving on suspended licenses is the norm. and they justify it with "i have to go to work".

Surely this is crazy talk! Or you can now vouch for the assurances about cabin rigidity?

Suspended license usually equals no insurance. My minimum required payment for such an offense, at the scene of a collision: the bridge of your nose and your front teeth.
