I have a GT200 and I am overheating. The thermostat and cover was faulty so I replaced them. Now it is still getting hot. The coolant hose going into the thermostat is getting hot to the touch however the return coolant line back into the water pump is cool. Is there anything I needed to do to the thermostat before
i installed it? I did several coolant flushes and there doesnt appear to be a blockage. Any suggestions?

Air pocket ? The 250 has a nipple to clear the air from the system, but the 200 doesn't.

Are you sure the pump is fine ?

Maybe take a look at this thread:

How do you test the pump?
