I see several responders also wear glasses, and wonder if you have any suggestions for me. My dealer just told me a few days ago when I was looking at helmets that I have "fairly wide" glasses and to not bother looking at FF helmets-none of them will work.

Comments?
I have 'big' glasses, and find I can't wear a FF helmet. However I can wear flip-front (modular?) helmets just fine. The cheek parts of these can be pulled open enough to get it on while wearing the glasses.
I wear big glasses, too - 14.5 cm across. They fit into my helmet (after I put it on) with a little wiggling. I find it helps to not have the helmet completely snugged down when I put on the specs.

My particular helmet (Z1R Strike) does have a little room at the temples, which helps, I'm sure - it's snug through the crown and at the cheeks and jaw.

Yeah, I just put my glasses on after the helmet is in place. The trick is remembering to take them off before taking off the helmet. There's enough room at the temples for the glasses to fit pretty well.

This is the exact reason I bought the Symax II. It was not cheap but the sales guy showed me his and this was at the BMW/Vespa dealer. I can slip is on voer my plastic framed sunglasses or my wire rimmed regular. Since posting about the helmet a few times now, I have noticed I put the helmet on one ear at a time while pulling out a little on the ear flaps. I really enjoy the secondary sun visor for those days when i forget to change glasses before riding or while wearing sunglasses and riding directly towards the setting sun (like every night on my way home from work).

I had read about some riders making 'riding glasses" by trimming off the ear hooks and smoothing out the cut end. They slide them for riding and the padding holds them in place. They change to their regualr pair when they get to thier destination. Too much hassle for me.

I wear any and all of these depending on the circumstance and I wear glasses as well. I always take off the glasses before putting a full face helmet on I can't imagine being able to do it other wise. I haven't had a problem with any helmet that I've had with regards to glasses...
new FF Lid that is on it's way!! meets or exceeds ECE2205 which I think is a more logical standard than SNELL.

Mine is similar but has gloss black flames with a matte black background and vintage goggles. I really don't wear this one that much anymore.

I wear a dainese "d-jet easy". It's rather comfy, and keeps my head surprisingly warm in the cold. And it's cheap. However, I don't understand why they had to make the little plastic bit that holds the faceshield in place so fragile.

For low speed rides and moped rides, a Vespa "Soft Touch" Vintage open face helmet.

For more serious rides, Schuberth J1 here too. Equipped with stereo headset speakers for GPS/MP3 audio.
Nice helmet with great panoramic vision! A bit big though...

PS: Amazingly price difference between my country and Germany...30%

Just picked up a Shoei TZ-R Tempest a few days ago ... love the graphics. It suits me.
