It's just a PX model prior to Arcobaleno It may be produced from 1977 until 1985 I think ....

The motor is worth $300 alone.

It's very difficult to say what engine is there on this Vespa ... There isn't a spare wheel, but it may be lost ... Because all PX200 has had spare wheel in series ... it wasn't an optional on the biggest Vespa ...

It's a US-spec model... so it's 1979-1981.

And you could sell the cowls to this dude:

That thing's a money maker for someone with $300 and a truck to pick it up in.

I wonder how chrome cowls would look on a matte back scoot, like a barrel of awesomeness or poo?

I've just emailed some my friends from Italy to ask them about this Vespa. They're real experts and one of them works for Piaggio

thanks

the owner has no clue what it is
he is calling me tonight and i am going to walk him through the #'s on the motor and frame

the bike is mine if i want it
he is holding it for me until 5pm tomorrow and if i decide to not get it he will sell it at the swap meet

nice guy
i told him i am interested in the motor but not a 125 with points and so he said he will go home tonight and call me so we can figure out what he has and if i don't want the bike at least he will know what he is selling

a really good guy

Hard to tell from just pics, but that fork (and frame?) look kinda bent from here.

Not sure if that factors into your equation, but something to check.

Hey Jimmy,
You need a P2 motor?
I got one. Gonna go for a little more than $300 though.
If you're interested let me know.
