On the way home, 20 minutes more. I go the long way

riding home on a friday arvo in peak hour with agro car drivers sucks dogs balls

i start work early in the day and find the ride more enjoyable at that time

I dunno why, but I love rush hour commuting on the way home. It's brilliant when the motorway seizes up completely and I get to carve right through them all. I also saw a GT/GTS (dunno which) the other day doing the same and it made me even more smug for some reason.

So I suppose I do know why: it's because I know I'll be home before any of the aggro drivers.

Oh, the A4/M4 between Earls Court, London and all the way up to Reading is really fun for doing that, although I do do it on a motorbike so have got a little more juice.

I too, get kicks for filtering on a motorway for some reason, especially so if the traffic ain't moving. And there's lots of that on some days on the M4...
