hi i need help
while cleaning the carb a black peace of plastic which used to turn while the throttle was twisting and use to press down on something inside the carburattor. the symptoms are while giving half throttle its ok afer half throttle the bike starts gurgling, if i press this rod in the bike goes to full throttle

Sounds like the accelerator pump. Is it a black lever that presses down on a piston at the back right of the carb. Not visible in this pic, but would be at the top right of the picture, behind the throttle spring.

So what is not working? Is the lever broken or is the piston not working properly?

What age is your ET4? Are you in London. If so, I suggest you take the carb off and go to Mile End and walk up to Scootech in Roman Rd. They have a box of used carbs, you could probably get the bit you need. Ask for Lawrence.

its a 1998 et4 125 can i still run the bike, and the screw is broken inside its thread

thank you very much, i have been on the bike since and the cleaning of the carburator is accually as fast as before i think that that accelarator thing will make it go even quicker, i cant wait to put that thing back on now, thanks
