Moon hubcab on an ET, you only need one on an ET, I take it. How much are they? Are they easy to install?

You remove the center dust cap and the moon hub cap mounts in that hole with spring loaded plastic prongs (if you can imagine that ).

It takes like 30 seconds, srs.

I had one for a couple years.

You can't mount it on the rear wheel because the rear wheel doesn't have that hole (I 'was' toying with the idea of custom mounting one but never got around to it.)

You have to check it from time to time, I lost mine over some bad road on a freeway, but only because it must have already worked itself loose a little.

It was like $45 from S.W. but that was in 2001....

Just remove the front wheel and pop/push the dust cap off from the other side. Nothing is holding it on but pressure.

Yep, what Menhir said.

A screwdriver handle placed in there and 'lightly' tapped on the pointy end will dislodge it.

I was in a gas station once and this cowboy, in a hat, with boots, walks up and asks 'How does your front wheel stay on?'

I showed him around the other side from the moon cap......

They do look cool
