Long story made short: GTS250 does a wheelie and gets looped:cry: . Now I have a 300:D .

I've read on Modern Vespa that some of you have the Leo Vince 4Road installed. Is the 250ie Leo Vince the same as the 300ie Leo Vince? If so was there any install issues?

How about the JCosta? I've read about some engine case issues.

Please confirm.

Thx

H

So, uhhh... how'd you get the 250 to wheelie? And what do you mean by "loooped"?

Hank, I used to have a GTS 250 with a LV pipe. I then traded it in for the 300 Super. I moved my LV pipe over from the 250 to the 300. I can confirm for you that there is no problem in doing so. If fits exactly the same, same need for the O2 sensor etc.

Thanks Ben,

Installed the Leo Vince on the 300ie. There's a little more back-fire but the bike runs well. I'm going to try to reset the EFI again and see if it improves.

Wheelie,

See photos attached. The driveway slope helped with the lift off. The wheelie lasted about 5 or 6 metres before the rear fender touched. At that point front wheel was at 11 o'clock.

The driver, a very experience rider and a friend I trust with my bike, was quick to give me full market value for the bike. Although I'm sad about the 250, the 300ie feels good.

We both learn something: don't lend or borrow someone's bike and its not "just a scooter"

Speed bumps are also a great place to wheelie. Hit the gas when the front tire hits the bump and the front wheel comes up nicely.
