hi the other day i was next to a yamaha r125 and when the red light turned amber we both raced and wierdly i accually keeped up with it i had the first advantage but then he went ahead not by much, he was pulling away slowly, even if i lost its still a big thing because i would expect him to pull away and leave me behind,(as well a couple of days before i broke the accelerator thing on the carburator which squirts fuel in to the engine at lower rpm, which makes the bike slightly faster.) does this mean that my et4 is powerfull or he bike wasnt, i did ask him and he told me that hes bike was new only 2500 miles, mine is a 13500mile 1998 et4 125. i have noticed that the torque spring is quite soft which will open the belt faster compared to my friends sr50. and wat can i do to make it faster?
