I just bought a Joe Rocket ufo 2.0 jacket and I wanted to know if anyone knows how to remove the patches, or maybe cover them up with something else? Has anyone tried stitching a different patch or relective material into a textile jacket?

If the patches are sewn on rather than attached with adhesive, get a seam ripper & carefully remove the stitching. fabric glue may be your best bet for putting on other patches. One of my least favorite things about most new gear these days is that it branded all over the place, ugh

Try taking it to a dry cleaner/tailor. Here in NYC just about every dry cleaner has someone in the shop who does simple alterations and things of that nature. They can generally take those types of patches off fairly easily and they know how to put any type of patch on just about any type of material (and for usually $10 or less).

Don't know if your local dry cleaner has that sort of person/knowledge/capability, but it might be worth a shot.

Yup, if it's sewn on, you need a seam ripper:

(Or, if you don't want to do it yourself,
Sallad's right about the dry cleaners)

I just bought a Joe Rocket Women's mesh jacket and was wondering the same thing. Some of the graphics are ok, but I hate the "ROCKET" logo all the way up the right sleeve. Looks like mine is embroidered right into the fabric, so it would be tedious and probably dangerous to try and rip out the stitching with a seam ripper. Maybe I'll just use black fabric paint to color the white outline black......make it all blend in.
