Finally made it up to Minneapolis over the weekend to get Geo-Vesp's '81 100 Sport. He was very kind to hold it for us until we could travel.
My wife is enjoying it!

It looks great
Although... the turn signal indicators.. are those added on due to your local laws? they seem period, but out of place. |

Totally cool! I was waiting to see your P - I like that color a lot. Are you leaving the glove box off?

Color on the P is a bright white pearl, the glove box still needs to be painted and put on. I have some wiring issues that need to be worked out first.
The 100 Sport runs good, but the gas in it is old and smells like whiskey. I pulled the carb and tank on Sunday and will get those cleaned up and rebuilt. |

your smallframe is really nice. good paint. very straight body. good buy, jeremy. smallframe gas tanks only take about 3 minutes to take out. i would take it out and pour the old gas out. then maybe, put a little more in and shake the living shit out of it and pour it out again.. then, put the gas tank back in the bike and fill it. i don't think you want to run the whole varnished tank of gas through the bike when an easy 10 minutes could fix it.

there is a super minty smallframe on scoot.net right now. but the guy wants 3300, which is insane for a smallframe (i am obviously not including ss90s and their ilk).

Interesting thing about the 100 Sport, it has a KM/H speedo and odo. It was imported to Canada from Italy, hence the metric guages.

Yeah, I got used to understanding the mph conversions fairly quickly, but it took awhile to sink into my brain that the ODO reading was also in kilometers. Wow, that was a 10-mile ride around the neighborhood, I must of lost track of time -- oh wait, no it wasn't.
My somewhat new-to-me 100 Sport is the same blue, but with much more surface rust. Just changed out the original tires. They had cracks running down in between the treads. Very dangerous. |

That 100 is a pretty rare model in the states. I almost bought one a few years back. It was white though.
