Modern Vespa

Got to meet and hang out with Azzurri on here... as well as a couple other MV'ers ...

won the "best vespa" award at the rally. Azzurri took this picture of me with the bike + trophy.

My buddy restored an SX200 ( though, not really "original" like ... he did white paint with all black trim on it instead of grey ) and won best lambretta.

I'm happy. First award i won with that SS180.

That's my wife's lammy next to mine...loaded up with all sorts of Ben Sherman / Fred Perry gear we bought up at ... 2 blocks down was a shop called "TigerTree" that sold nothing but brit / mod fashion - a rarity in the midwest.

Also, you might be able to notice the basket on the back of her lambretta that Killo gave me a few weeks back. I had a spare tire holder and that basket powder coated to match the paint on her bike, and got it back just in time to mount for the rally. She loves it.

I got a chance to see your scoot up close this weekend (I saw it in the North Market parking area and knew it was yours even before I saw the Michigan plate.) As you MV'ers can imagine, every detail on this bike is tight.
