I'm a little paranoid now about leaving my P in a spot for a long period of time after the Rally theft incident in Campbell.

What does everyone recommend in terms of covers and locks (long enough to go around the floor board or from the BBQ rack)?

i wrap my chain through the forks between leg and shock.. somtimes i pust the brake pedal down and thread it through the underside ............... no point in wrapping them round things that can be unbolted

I thread the chain through the shock. You can get the xena alarmed locks but it will go off in every stiff wind, then to be extra annoying you could add a grip lock.

+1 - T5, that's a great idea! Through the underside of the Brake Pedal! Brilliant! I never thought of that. I'm gonna give you a +1 on Karma, baby!

I've been putting a U-Lock (kyrptonics or such) under the headset, right between the headset and legshield. Then I run a nice thick security cable from the U-lock to some immobile object (street sign/light)
