My girlfriend and I recently purchased bowling balls, is there any kind of luggage rack for vintage vespas (VNA) that can carry one or two b-balls?
Im assuming the rear seat would have to be given up?..

Thanks for any help

two balls on one scooter or one on each? I usually carry mine on the floorboard with the handles of my bag in the bag hook. keeps the weight lower. Most of the folding type racks for vintage vespas are pretty flimsy but the ol bbq style rack would handle it no problem

Take your bowling ball bag to an upholsterer, take your scooter there, describe what you want and have them adapt it.

Done.

It would be cool if they could get both balls in one bag, and then have the bag dangle and swing from the back of your scooter.

The BBQ rack might be strong enough.

I wouldn't do that. I had to have my bbq rack re-welded. The vertical bar cracked and broke through where the upper mounting bracket is welded. All I had used it for was grocery's.

Perhaps the ball would be better stored ins some kind of secure box or bag, on the scooter tunnel between your feet, in a effort to keep the center of gravity low.
