First of all, I don´t really like the word "Pimped up" but i lack of a better english word...

I have been searching this forum for a list of those "eye candy" alternations. I mean pictures nice paintwork or chrome strips/bars. Or some other good looking assecories.

From what I seen on this forum some of you people have some fantastic looking stuff so why not show it off in one list? If there already is such a list please disregard this and direct me to the goodies.

Tough crowd tonight

I haven't done much cosmetically to my bike, but I did have someone pinstripe it for me, and I added reflective tape to the wheels. I think the stripes are too wide, but the added visibility is great on my early morning/pre-dawn commute. If only the deer would respond . . . . I ordered heated grips, a bigger tire, and am looking for saddlebags for touring.

sorry my 250 is pretty much stock except for a tall fabbri windscreen, cigarette lighter plug, and two small speakers (the radio died)

never have been big on flashy mods, prefer to ride instead but that said i do appreciate the work and talent that some go through when pimping

This is exacly what Im talking about, it looks great. I don´t think the stripes are too wide at all, very nice with a personal touch.

Look at Luthorhuss's post - he has done some cool stuff with painting his red panels glossy black. I like riding - I really want a new saddle for my bike - I like running the roads, and my butt says about 350 miles on the stock saddle is about it. I've done a couple of over 400 mile days, and my rear end says I need to make a change.

Have you seen Durangos saddle? It looks more comfy than my sofa at home

My bike is currently undergoing some mods to eventually make a "Knight Rider" themed bike out of it...the KITT 500 is well underway but won't be done until sometime next year...

There seams to be more stuff to buy and to do with the 500cc than with the 250cc. Not fair...

Well, I am girlie and want the saddle to look nice too - sorry Durango, but yours doesn't quite match up with my aesthetic. I want a Bill Mayer saddle, but I either have to ship the seat off, wait patiently (not one of my virtues ), and then put it back on, or else ride all the way to CA. Under normal circumstances that wouldn't bother me, but that is a loooong journey to undertake alone and my hubby doesn't normally DO long trips, and if I ride that far I am by George going to see and ride some of the places I want to. I've mapped it out and it would be right at 3 weeks. So I am weighing my options.

Now this one is new for me, is it a roof or a parachute? Well guys send more pictures of the good stuff.

No, there are few shops that sell accessories for mp3 ... That's why I produce them yourself, but if you need anything in particular I can try to look for.

Im not sure what parts Im looking for yet, trying to get some inspiration and a feeling of what can be done.

Im leaning towards painting my scoot in Army-green, and maybe do a military theme on it, not sure yet.

It would be cool if I could put some crash bars on the front. Not sure if Im allowed by the law though. It would also be cool if I could make the headlights a bit "smaller" more MP3 500 like (They don´t sell the MP3 500cc in Sweden )

But these are all just ideas and dreams, the truth is that Im quite happy for now how it looks. But its always good to have a project to dream about, right?

Those whitewalls give the MP3 a "retro" kinda look, flashy, flamboyant, and stylish. You might have to dress retro while riding from now on.

Yup, Cherohala - don't remember which overlook. Probably one with a bathroom I've gone up there 3 times now - with my hubby, with Fuzzy, Luthor, Bdog, BubbaJon, and JerryW, and once by myself on a particularly gorgeous day. I'm still too slow to do the Dragon really, I've got to grow a spine at some point, but it is okay as long as I get up there on a weekday or late in the day. It is about a two hour ride from here to there - if we get up and eat breakfast and leave we can ride both, eat a late lunch at the Dragon's Rest, and be home in time to cook supper for the kiddies.

Sorry for the hijack sst - Somewhere I saw a pic of an Italian MP3 painted camo colors, but I think one painted in a flat-ish OD green and done up sort of like the bikes the bad guys rode in the Indiana Jones movies would be really cool. That sort of look would really suit this critter. Black retro seat, maybe some kind of army surplus bags rigged as saddlebags - you could have some fun with that

That's a beauty indeed. Love that green metalflake, and naked with no tags adds intrigue and excitement. My Loretta has no outward indication of type or mfr save the forward Piaggio medallion, having been stripped of such, and it drives gawkers nuts...

The most striking mod, the rhinestones, are the cheapest customising job I've ever done. £4.00 a hundred, and stuck on with double sided neoprene tape. Job done!

Before the credit squeeze I had the matt black fenders filled and glossed. They looked great and as soon as cashflow allows............

I put on some chequers, which are reflective. They've been on there for a while now, and are starting to lift off a bit.



Also, got some Rim Stickers for the bike. So at night, the bike is lit up like a traffic sign.



I wouldn't mind getting some more reflective tape from eBay. I think the black reflective on black would be an inconspicuous mod. I do get some extended looks from the Police, because of the similarities to the chequers they use here in Australia. No problems as yet though.
