I have tried searching for them a few days (not hard) - can anyone direct me to a site that has them. I want to run without my mirrors and use a leg shield mirror on my P and would like to find the plugs. Thx

Chad, you don't have to lord your big bag of plugs over us all. We get it - you like plugs. Stop trying to make us plug-less folk feel inferior with your big bag of them.

Funny, chad included a plug in my last package from him. Unfortunately I don't think it was for the mirror hole...

those work, but the thing i don't like about them is they're hard plastic, not rubber. over time, they tend to warp and pop out, or they crack.

Been riding without a left mirror for over two years, now My right mirror broke off this morning. The bike steering is much lighter, I like it and looks way cooler now.
Going shoping for plugs now |

Lowe's, Home Depot, or any hardware store will have the little finger plugs used on folding closet doors and such. They usually have them silver, gold, black, white, metal, plastic and they fit so perfectly, it's almost shocking.

check these out from sip. i have used them on both my px's. those germans don't mess around. great quality and they look good too. they come w/2 rubber gaskets for above and below the headset and a 2nd metal plate for under the headset. they screw down very securely on the headset with the 2 steel parts and 2 rubber gaskets sandwiched on each side of the headset. the whole unit is extremely well made. they have a nice heavy feel to them as well. sip is great, but you'll need to order more stuff to reach a minimum order value for them to ship items to the US. play around on their site. i'm pretty sure you'll find plenty of cool and useful things for your px to add to your order. john ps it says they are out-of-stock on these right now, but will be getting more soon. |
