Hi again guys

Finally today I started dismantelling my LML NV Vespa in order to get it painted.I have one problem. We dismantelled front parts but the mechanic is afraid to dismantle the back part, the motor from the chassis, because he is afraid that he won't know how to put everything back again. But I want my Vespa to be painted whole, every part of it,so my question is this:
Is dismanteling the motor from the chassis difficult and shoud we do it,and is there some manual that can lead us step by step in doing that?

Help needed urgent

Bye

Check this link:
http://vespamaintenance.com/engine/teardown/index.html

To be honest, I would be a little worried about using a mechanic that was afraid to drop the engine...

I don't wanna open the engine.I just wanna take off the engine from the chassis,so that he can paint the whole chassis.I won't touch the engine ,cause I think everything is OK with it.

i agree 100%. even if he does not want to do anything in the engine, he should take it out of the frame to paint it. just disconnect the cables, shock and take out the swingarm bolt.

Well is there some manual with pics for taking off the whole frame? We dismantelled the front part (the front wheel) and we need to dismantle now the back parts (engine, shock absorber e.t.c.) so that we can have the whole frame out !!! Sorry but I don't understand every word in English, because I'm from Europe.

Thank you guys for your help, but I need a specific guidance in dismantelling the whole frame frome the rest of the parts.

The link I posted above has all the steps you need to use in removing the engine. I understand that you do not need to rebuild it... but the link has every aspect of removing the engine from the frame in the first 15 or 16 steps.
