1. Motorcycle Safety Program Passed? Check
2. Corazzo jacket bought? Check
3. Corazzo gloves? Check
4. Helmet that while safe, makes me look like im commanding a tank? Check
5. Boots? Check.
6. Trip to the DMV for a new License, with the M on it? In Progress.....
7. Actually BUYING the scooter? TODAY!!!!


Finally got all the silly finance issues out of the way. Scooter is gassed up, and ready for me to pick up today around 3pm. Midnight Blue LX150.

Will be driving it home, and i cant wait!!!

Still need to pick up a few things, but they can wait a few weeks while my bank account recovers. Things like a roll bag and chrome. I WILL be picking up some sort of wheel lock and a cover.

Ok, so due to it raining yesterday, i couldnt get the bike.

I got it TODAY!!!

Drove it home, which was about 13 miles. Got lost, and loved every minute of it!!

Had my first couple head nods from other motorcyclists. Had a HUGE grin on my face the entire time.

Im in freaking heaven. That is SOOOOOO much fun to ride!

Ill post some pics when i figure out the whole Iphoto to MV thing. No time! Gotta go ride some more!!!

Thanks for all the replies. It was a very safe ride home. Horrific if you count sense of direction, but i totally didnt care.

For the pittsburgh Scooterists, i went from Mosites in Irwin to Squirrel Hill. Simple in theory, but i borked it somehow. Oh well

Buying a Vespa for the first time ranks somewhere between finding a pee spot when you have to go really badly in a crowded place and having great sex for the first time.
