Ok modern riders got a question for you.

Model LX 150

Part: I don't know. It's some kind of breather cap/rubber tube thing. It's clear and it has a spring loaded device around it to hold it in place. It's about an inch long.

I know the GT200 has them but I am not sure if the LX150 has one or where it is located.

KnowwhatI'mtalkingabout?

Long story short had some scooterists over and found one of these in my yard. Believe it belongs on an LX150 but I'm trying to explain where she should check on her motor to see if hers is missing (and, again, not even sure if that motor has one).

On the GT200 it's on the left side of the bike (as you sit on it) back on the motor...

FAQ: What's that bubble filled with oil?

You're such a newbie.

It goes on the bottom of the airbox. There's a little black stub sticking out that the bubble goes over. The LX150 has one. The GT and GTS have two. The airboxes are in pretty much the same spot on all the modern bikes, lower left rear.

Thanks, uh, you.

Stupid modern bikes. Nerd emoticon

I think I did pretty well identifying a part in some dirt and picking it up and knowing it went somewhere on a Modern Vespa...

Now I just hope it's the bike in question.

If not I need to call up Bobo because he's been without one for over a month...

Well, how fresh was the oil? If it just came off, it should have pretty fresh oil on it.

The postage to mail it to him could be more than the cost of new parts at his local dealer...

Does it really matter f that's off the bike? Just means run off from evap and oil overflow / blowback will drain on the road, or trickle on the case.

No, doesn't matter a lot. I prefer to have them in place myself, but it's certainly not the end of the world.

Belongs to the LX, not to Bobo.

Now just to figure out which pants pocket it's in before I wash them...
