Hello everybody!

I recently bought an already de-restricted ET4 50 which ran brilliantly for 300 miles before breaking down. The shop repaired it with a new CDI and, after some humming and haring, agreed to make the 'cut' to de-restrict the engine again.

Since having it back though, the bike really doesn't ride as it did. top speed is 31/31mph and the initial pick-up is, quite simply, terrible.
0-10mph takes around seconds which, to me, even for a 'restricted' 50cc bike is slow. i actually feel a bit un-safe pulling out of junctions which, before the bike had it's problems, was not an issue.

anybody on here had any experience of this?

Did they make the cut exactly as in the 'tech tips'? Inspect...

i'm not entirely sure what to look for but i'm going to take it off this morning and check.
i suspect not since i'm pretty sure they didnt have a jig.

edit...had a butchers, seems the cut had been made 45mm not 38mm
so i made another cut to 3mm and hey presto...safe to pull out of junctions again!!!

thanks for your most helpful diagram!
