I've tried to get to the forum a few times this morning (UK time) but kept getting this error:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum/forum2 on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Am I forbidden, is it a local connection problem or is there something up on the MV server?

No, it isn't just you. I had it too. I think the whole site was down for a bit this morning ... but seems to be working fine now. Thanks Jess (or site admin) for whatever you did!

Yep. Our webhost suffered a massive failure of one of the storage segments this morning. It happened to be the one we were on, of course, along with a bunch of other sites.

The site was down for a good couple of hours.

Crossed my mind too, for a split second. I think he would tell us if he were pissed at us though. IMHO it has been remakably civilised for the past few days. It is a relief, frankly, that all the aggro has ended. A big thumbs up for the system!
