No, it wasn't.

I agree that wasn't funny, those who were filming the thing, are crying out to be removed from the gene pool! and yes I am talking ____. Something like that can be considered intent to kill. Not at those speeds, but if they did this, they will do so to someone else next at higher speeds. And that can kill. Not just from the fall but a bag of something heavy enough to throw that far, hitting someone in the head, can twist the neck to the point it would snap. The rider would be dead before he hit the ground. Nothing funny about that at all.

I agree that it wasn't very funny. That potentially could have been any of us. It could have been quite serious as well for the injured rider.

To be fair, it looked pretty staged. That means the injured rider may well have been game...and therefore deserves their place on the Darwin Awards nominee list

Again. I believe that the first one was staged. If you look at the way that he takes the impact and falls off the scoot it looks like he's expecting it. He even keeps rolling away after he's hit. He also slows down a bit right before he was hit which suggests that it was practiced a few times.

That guy is on his feet yelling at the driver of the car before all the debris even had a chance to hit the ground.

Even if it was staged, it's still not funny.
