True, but unfortunately they're all on the bbs.

I didn't think so at first, but one of the best things that happened to MV was the banning of members who caused constant drama, dissension, and infighting. Those members are all over at the Modern Vespa section of the bbs now. The hallmarks of that site are cynicism, debauchery, mockery, taking pleasure at the misfortunes of others, derision of people who are new to scooting. By quarantining those members who enjoy nothing more to the bbs, MV has stayed a mostly pleasant place to pass a little time.

If you have nothing really constructive to add here, why bother? It's true that you have information that could be helpful, and you could be of assistance to many here, but your approach devalues your contribution.

What's the point? I really don't want to see MV descend into the kind of banter that populates the bbs. If that's what you want, it's there for you. Why insist on bringing it over here?

One could say the same about this entire post. Oh I'm sorry I don't write with more emoticons and sensitivity. I'm sorry I'm not exactly the same as everyone else.

It's been said 100 times however bottom line is MV is like big old camp fire with friends from all over the globe and Jess's family here damn near self moderates to preserve the board when things go bad.

Sometimes you just gotta let it go, you have valid points however getting in the last word and such just isn't going to work I fear.

You seem to be very knowledgeable about scooters, hang around a while.

Does it ever occur to anyone that constantly talking about drama (perceived or real) not only is drama, but begets more drama?

I say this ironically, of course, knowing it's hella drama to make such pronouncements. But I'm just saying.

The point is, a Vespa over 278cc isn't a vespa, and you've missed the point if that's where you wanna go with that.

Can someone just kill this thread. This constant bickering back and forth is really annoying. This back and forth brought up a lot of things that sound as if scooter riders are trying to be like "hells angels", and frankly its a bit distasteful.
