Seats kind of hard, If you don't mind sitting on your balls, Go for it.
I prefer the slower GTS 250, But the Italjets are nice looking though. |

I want, too.
But mainly to tell people it -only- has a 180cc motor in it and race 250 four stroke guys for pink slips. I could end up with probably a dozen slow GTS250s or 300s before people caught on not to drag race the tiny motor Dragster. |

The only Italjets I would be interested in are two that they have never made, the Scoop and the Amarcord.

We can argue all day but you know that most people wouldn't know 1: what in the hell an Italjet Dragster is and 2: not realize that a smaller displacement 2-stroke will whallop the daylights out of most 4-strokes up to double their size. Hell I run into it every day on the RD with that little teeny 350 stamped on the side...until I leave those 600s behind off the line. That Italjet has a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. The RD is 5.2 (unmodified of course) |

Is this a modified scoot, or do they come out of the factory like this??
And what's with the shock sitting horizontal in the middle of the footboard???? |

It's not the top speed (many modern scooters above 200cc will do the same) but the way it gets there. I'd imagine the T-Max and Honda SH300 are close on acceleration while the Gilera GP800 may be quicker. Italjet were rumoured to be producing a modern 4 stroke version of the dragster but I doubt that will ever happen now - shame as you'd just need to keep the same general look then use the 300cc engine off the SH300 then either add a turbo or a supercharger just to ensure the same feeling of wildness and you'd have a winner.

The dragster 4T was just going to use the QUASAR250 which would have been terribly disappointing to people who wanted a wild an crazy dragster.
