Modern Vespa

Just got this beauty. Its a 2006 GT200. Itonly has 1300 miles on it.
Carburator had to be redone since it has been sitting for about 3 years. But now, in the morning it starts fine and runs smooth.
But in the afternoon, after it has been sitting in the sun for 5 hours, when I go to start it to go home from work, I hear it kicking over but the engine sputters and then cuts off. I give t a bit of gas it starts, but when I let go, it dies.
Any suggestions?

Mine does the exact same thing, always has. After it sits in the sun all day I have to ride it around the parking lot a few times and then it runs fine.

I don't know why it does it, but it only does it when it's at a certain temperature apparently.

Aloha and welcome to the forum. I like the 200 series great scooters. I put some SeaFoam in my tank after every fill-up which helps with the crud build up. Plus i travel alot so the scooters sit for a few months when i'm out on one of my adventures. You can get it at Napa.checkers etc. Good luck and ride safe
