What fabulous customer service you got!
That is a shining example of a dealership. Now I wish I wasn't 3K miles away.
(Not that my local dealer is horrible, just, well, these folks seem so NICE).

Glad you're back on the road Benito with your baby!

If it were me, those folks would rate a plate of homemade brownies

Benny,

Sounds like your scooter is in good hands. The same thing happened to my husband's GTS earlier in the summer, but he caught it before he lost enough oil to do engine damage.

We think he forgot to screw the oil dipstick back on tight after an oil check.

The thing I wanted to add, though, is to make sure you get the rear brake cleaned up good. It took us an hour's worth of spraying and an entire can of brake cleaner to get Richard's functional again. Please don't let that be overlooked while everyone's focus is on the engine.

Got my 300 now. Had a lovely ride home in winds gusting up to 60 km/hr with misty rain. Oh, my scooter is so clean and new again. It's like riding a new scooter. Razz emoticon I'm so glad to have my scooter back again, I never thought it could happen so quickly, I couldn't be more impressed with the service. Thanks again to Motoretta Eurosport.

Hmmm just thinking, I have to do my 1000 km first service again, but since my odometer is at almost 1900 km, it will be more challenging to remember when services are due. I guess one cannot roll back the odometer to make it fit with the new engine.
Just set your GPS to 0 Km and start all over,
Glad everything worked out fine for you.

See you on the roads soon.

Shouldn't they reset your odometer, since the engine is brand new?

I can do some math still in my head with a calculator thank you very much. Can they turn back the odometer? I didn't think it was possible.

I had a good look at my brakes and tires and scooter in general before I took off. They did an amazing job of cleaning my whole scooter. It really looked like a brand new Super again.

I don't think they'd want my brownies, I've never baked them before. I do have something to give them in thanks though.

From blown engine on Friday to new engine & clean scoot on Monday?
I think you're into single malt territory, Benny.

What an amazing adventure.. almost book quality.. i was hanging on from the moment you mentioned you had oil all over the back end while trying to change lanes right up until the dealer decided to give you a new engine.... holding my breath the whole time....

Next time i'm visiting my sister in TO i'm going to bring my 300 in for service... and maybe bump into you at the same time ..
