After installing my windscreen, I noticed that the headlamp reflects up into the backside of the windscreen and creates an annoying reflection of the bulb.

I have included two pics showing:

1) the 'forwardness' of the screen [in relation to the headlight] and,

2) the mounting 'bolt' embedded [seemingly all the way in].

Does this appear to be correct or is there a way to sink these 'bolts' in further [it is about as low as it can go]? Or am I destined to lay something over to block the light?

Thanks

I have a similar problem on my LX 150. I ended up putting some tape over the top of the headlamp, to keep light from leaking up and into the screen (my whole screen was lighting up like a stoner light sculpture). A headlight cowl would have helped too, but I'm cheap.

I would guess that your screen was not made for the Fly. Some shops sell ET screens to Fly owners, because the distance between the frame mounting receptacles is approximately the same on both bikes; this means that the holes in the screen align with the frame enough to mount the screen. The problem is that the ET frame sits too far forward to allow the screen to sit back of the Fly headlight (the problem that you have). Even if you could get the frame further back in the receptacle, it wouldn't travel far enough before it ran up against the headset plastic; also, you wouldn't be able to get a wrench on the nuts to tighten the frame.

Yeah,I don't guess there is much to do (it is a Piaggio screen and is made for the Fly [has odd-shaped headlamp enclosure]) except cover the light seepage over the top of the enclosure.

Thanks,
