anybody done this? is it advisable? how do manufacturers make white wall tires anyway?

It has been done but it doesn't seem to last long. Do a little google search and you can find paint just for tires. I have used (as have many) a paint pen (available at most auto part stores) just to do the letters. Looks great but gets really dirty looking quick. You can't seem to just wash it off either even with cleaners made just for white letters/wall. I think motorsportscooters has white wall tires made to fit the GTS but I don't know how good they are. Hope this helps some.
