I'm thinking of getting a second pair of cowls, and customizing then with some animal pattern fabric. This way, I can take off my stock cowls and put these on whenever I feel in the mood to be wild. Then when I want to go back to the stock look, I can put the stock ones back on.

Its sort of like the idea Rover Eric was talking a while ago about with the mod mirrors installed on a front rack. Rack on, Mod. Rack off, stock.

My P200e is that stock maroon color. Here is the pattern I'm thinking of going to.

I know. I know. I can just hear you guys retching, but I figure its my baby, so I can do whatever I'd like. Plus, I won't REALLY be messing with the actual stock body. I'll only do this with an extra set of cowls.

OK, retching aside, Here is a further thought. A lot of these novelty fabrics are knitted and fairly stretchy. Have someone who knows what they are doing at a sewing machine make appropriately shaped "bags" with drawstrings that could be slipped over the cowls and tightened to be smooth. That way you could have any color combination you want and change them from hour to hour.

Say, that's a pretty good idea. One of you guys do that and just mail me the royalty check! Laughing emoticon
