I just got a 74 rally running. It is converted to 12 volt with no battery. Im getting current at the headlight connections but no light. Im stumped.
Any ideas what IM doing wrong???

OK found it..
After many trys, several shocks etc., I figured it out.. sigh.
Wish I had before posting but the problem was with the Bulb. WHen I hooked up up to a 12v battery it lit fine. Closer examination of this bulb revealed that the porcelain on the back was cracked and allowing the spring loaded contacts to push it in far enough to ground themselves out.
Brand New doesnt always mean good.
