I just added a customized lowered and narrowed seat and backrest in leather with matching piping. As you can see I also have a midsize windscreen (faco), and floor mat. I also just got a Zippy rear tire to replace the balding Pilot City.

Really like the seat. Did you do it yourself or have someone else do it? I'm thinking I need to do that with my BV, but don't really know where to start.

myself? Laughing emoticon . I am lucky to sew on a button. My scooter shop recommended a local person. He typically does cars, convertable tops, and motorcycles. I think starting locally at a recommended place is a great way to start. Pirate Upolstery-often recommended on this site, and for good reason, does a great job- but it is not cheap!

Good suggestion starting local. I can sew if I have to, but have a wimpy household machine. I have done quite a bit of dining room-style chair recovering, and it appears to be similar, but I don't trust myself cutting down the seat. I'll have to ask around here. Thanks for the reminder!

What I added!!!
Well Let's see.... Where shall I start

Ok!!!!!

1st upgrade was my topcase excalibur grey vespa

second was a stereo 2 4 in speakers installed onto my knee pads with a Ipod cord woven through my frame to have my ipod docked in glove compartment and remote velcroed just right of left handle bar within reach of my thumb. Never have to let go of handle.

Third! LV Pipe!!!!!!

Fourth! Stebel magnum horn I like that horn.

Fifth!!! Added heavier weights to the handlebars for better stability on the freeway.

Finally!!! small windshield. I never like the look of the bigger windshields.

All in all. . . . . My little baby.

Unfortunately it is docked till I save moola to repair my exhaust ran over a pot hole made a small leak in exhaust that melted my brake line. Should be repaired by end of may.

a set of dr. pulley sliders went in today acceleration is now as smooth as butter - no more hesitation at the low end. will be pulling it all apart in about 500 miles to see if the belt is chewing up the inside of the transmission case.

Anyone have experience with chrome or stainless knee pads? I live in Florida and someone mentioned that they might REALLY reflect a lot of sun. Thanks.

I only ride in and around London but it is sometimes sunny here.

I have had the stainless knee pads for about 18 months and before somebody asked the question on this thread last week I have never even given it the slightest bit of thought which indicates to me that its not a problem. Not even a little bit.

Have you seen the amount of chrome on most cruisers? They seem to manage without being dazzled.

No Problem.

Sorry my finger is in front of the lens a bit, I parked the scoot so that the morning sun was behind me thinking this would be the worst case for glare and reflections (which you can see is a non issue) but it did mean that I couldn't see a thing on the screen of my iPhone when I took the pic.

I had this LED light kit sitting around for a couple years, not knowing for sure what to do with. This is the result. Sorry not the greatest picture quality.
There are also four single light LED's mounted under the muffler guard to reflect off the chrome finish.
