If I were to sell my original bbq rack with the back rest that pushes forward for the driver and also back for the passenger, how much would it go for? The local dealer here said they are highly sought after and I'm in need of money to get my scoot in tip top shape due to hard times and expensive tow companies!

i don't know about "highly sought after". People want them because they are quality .. but there's a million of them out there. Yeah, they aren't being made anymore ...but there's no shortage of them when you go looking.

Seems like 75-150 is the going rate for a complete one.

will this fit
..hmm so what are you askin for it ??

my 90? kinda desperate for some chrome rear/bbq scene, the other alt/ is a west marine waterproof battery box ( which i might paintred and use since it is water-proof) now that it`s the rainy season ( you cali boys don`t have this issue,,fall>rain>winter) ugghh oh to be back in SD,
,,so i think this will work with some flatbar metal pre-drill if it does`nt quite match up w/the single seat latch bolt/nut mount.
,,it this crap or will it work for the $$

Chelsea said that?

About $100 bucks. I mean they are highly sought after by some people but in the end it was still just a mass produced backrest and rack and as was mentioned, they made plenty of them.

Not enough to get a scoot in tip top shape I'm afraid.

Personally I'd keep it. You'll likely regret it and if you ride two up the backrest is a godsend for your passenger - keeps them off of you.
