How does it perform in the snow? (Will it perform in the snow?)

It better be coming! I've had my eyes set on one since the day it was announced.

Considering that parts of it are based on the X8 (that is not available here in North America), my guess is that it'd be similarly priced as the 460cc X9, which MSRPs for Cdn$7999. That is still a lot of dough for the extra wheel and "only" a 250cc engine.

Another question is, when would be a good (read: safe) time to purchase one? As a car enthusiast, I know better than to purchase a first model year product. But is one year after launch long enough?

I don't think that the 125 cc will be imported, It only has a top speed of 103 km/ph,
Compared to the 250 cc which has a top speed of 125 km/ph.

Also the weight difference between the two is very close.

I'd buy an extended warranty for the MP3 if I was going to buy one though,
That's if they have an extended warranty, I wasn't offered an extended warranty on my LX150.

Yeah, I don't think the 125cc version will make it across the Atlantic either. That engine size is perfect for Europe because many countries have this 125cc limit where the rider doesn't need to have a proper motorcycle licence. We don't have that here in North America, so it only make sense for us to have the 250cc version.

It does look cool. It'll be interesting to see how it is seen once the initial hype has died down, ie. revolutionary or flash in the pan. Piaggio must have a fistfull of patents on it, if it really is as good as we are hearing, how long before 3-wheel crotch rockets start appearing on the streets?!

There was already a prototype of one with one wheel up front, and two rear. It was also tilting.

My guess is that the sportsbike dude are too image conscious to let themselves ride anything this different-looking.

Well it looks like our fair country is opening it's doors to some great new options! This MP3 looks great in the video clips.

I'm predicting a decent premium be tacked onto the price - because these vehicles are unique and be lusted after by people in the know ie: US!!!!

Whoever is first - expect a lot of attention, google eyes and questions from the public.

Hmm... better get friendly with Bob and Brett again back at the dealership now.
