Modern Vespa

My GTS 300 is nameless; she's only a few days old, thinking of calling her 'Queen Gorgo' but don't want to disrespect the Greek gods. May just call her 'Drago'

My LX150 was called 'TEX2'. I gave it to my wife who promptly renamed it 'hand-me-down'

my yellow vbb were koenig mellow cause its so mellow to remember how i get that vespa, it was use to be my young and old bro bike but they abandon so i took it as mine, and koenig mean yellow
my red px is mars, as u all knew that mars is the red planet

my Dragon Red S150 is now called Vino Rosso

my white 300 is called Vino Blanco

of course subject to change at any given moment....

One day before a run, I met this old Spaniard retired priest. He told me that he had a Vespa in Spain many years ago. And gave me all kinds of compliments on my Vespa. He called his Scooter, "Camila The Prostitute" because he could "rider her" anytime and never complained. I was so surprised with such comment (specially coming from a priest!). I guess he died after that so, in his honor, I named her Camila also.

My GTS 300 is named "Frances" after the Diane Lane character in Under A Tuscan Sun.

Both are stunning.

Actually it wasn't that hard to do,
I just gave "Bernice" a "nice rack" on her front.

She stands out much nicer in a crowd now.

I haven't officially named my scooter, but it is informally referred to by a horrible pronunciation of the manufacturer in what I would call a high-pitched vapid Brooklyn girl's accent:

Peee-ah-gee-oh

It's an inside joke passed on by a friend. In Las Vegas there is a hotel called The Palazzo. When at a club, my friend was chatting up a lady and asks where he is staying. He replies with "The Palazzo". She says, "Oh, the Puh-lahtz-eeee-oh".

End of story.

I named mine Nelly because it's grey (well silver) and a bit slow but it gets me where I want to go and I enjoy the ride.

My GTS is called "scooter", the wife's GTS is called "scooter"; - as in; I'm heading out, taking the "scooter." Unlike when a car is taken; because we would say something like - I'm heading out, taking the car, too cold/wet for the "scooter."
Not very imaginative but effective.

Mine's name is "Guidoune". It's a french canadian word for a girl that's more like a railroad crossing: meaning every guy in the town has ben over her without having to pay a penny.

My green Stella is "Stella Verdi." My Dragon Red GTS 250 is "La Minaccia Rossa," The Red Menace, or "Min" for short.

Mine is Dragon Red so I named him Picante of course The only reason I did that is that one of our parrots is named VESPA

My scoot is refered to as "the vesp" or "moonstomp"

The old GT200 was the Hornet which was sold to Jimh but the new GT250ie is called the Ventilato.

Just acquired a silver GT200 named The Viggen.

My Dragon Red Gts. is called "Bastard" after it just expired completely on a left hand bend fortunately not far from home.
I'm 60 and had to push it back..how embarrasing... checked the plug lead and thats ok, so its going to the Vespa shop on the truck to be connected to the computer and hopefully fixed. as its still under warranty.

Angeo, because it sounds Italian and it's an anagram for her home town of Genoa. She and her friend Guiseppi (a 1960 VBA) live in my shed, the Scootreia. Skuderia (Italian for horse barn) is the name Enzo Ferrari gave to his race shop. Does anyone else have a pet name for thier garage?

I just call mine the scoot, my baby, her or she...nothing elaborate here unfortunately. I've just never came up with a good original name for her,not for want of trying mind.

My lady named ours Benedetta.

It is italian name that means "blessed".
