PIRELLI SC30 RETRO 3.50-10
Has anyone here used these before? How do they compare to the Michelin S83? I found the SC30's for $22.30 and the S83 for $26.39
Thanks, Brian.

Yes,They came standard on P 200's in 1980. And I have a set on my Rally they are a great vintage tire for the price. I would buy them again. I also just bought a set of Mich. S83 because the price was right.
Both tire look to be the same.. I like the OG better.. ⚠️ Last edited by gatekeep on UTC; edited 1 time

If a local shop had them for $10 more I would consider it. But even they are asking $47.95 for a single tire, I will purchase online.
I do a majority of the work on my own scooters and to be honest, when you call a shop with a question or to buy parts and they are too busy to help and never call back when they said they would, I will not do business with them. I do support one local shop in my area, but I do not buy everything there. The tire shop is in Arizona, not far from my other home. |

Motorcycle-superstore.com has the Pirelli SC 30s for a really low price. I have them on both my scooters, and they have been great performers, in addition to having a vintage appearance.

I'd prefer to buy local but, I would have to drive to Hartford Ct.
I still have not seen a shifty scoot around here besides mine. I should come up with some sort of name for myself like "LoneShifty" or some more pithetic. |

If I was going to buy a tire that needed to be mounted and balanced I'd buy it from the shop that was going to do the work. Tim |
